This week I pay homage to the 2 Mom's in my life

First, my Mom who doesn't understand my sentimental streak or where it came from. Mom received this bracelet as a 16th birthday gift from her older brother who was my godfather-which is why I received the bracelet not long ago. Sounds kinda sentimental to me.
And my mom-in-law - the quintessential farmer's wife who had all the laundry on the line by 8am Monday morning, hearty meals including homemade dessert on the table on time all the time, and whose Silver never knew what tarnish was. Poor woman just couldn't understand why her new daughter-in-law, who worked 40-45 hours a week, didn't iron her tea towels and bed linens. So why did I receive the tea service? Was I supposed to feel guilty when the tea service looks like this?

Well maybe I do a little. After 1 hour and 23 minutes of hard labour, it looks just like when she had it.

(Now maybe my ears will stop ringing ;>)
Now I am off to visit all the Silver Sunday'ers. Looking forward to seeing you all at the new Second Sunday of the month Silver Sundays.
