Handmade Sterling Silver Amazonite Earrings

Amazonite is named after the Amazon river in Brazil. But no deposits of it have been found there. Amazonite is said to calm one's emotions and soothe nerves, and to enhance creativity and the ability to express oneself. Perhaps the strongest recommendation of its metaphysical powers is that Amazonite is said to make your married life happier. These Amazonite beads hang from hand formed argentium sterling silver hand formed rings.  Sterling silver leverbacks.

Several years ago I went into the hair salon and the owner of the establishment was wearing a hat that said "bad hair day". Not something you want to see on the person cutting your hair. I recently read an article when the writer suggests "bad hair day" earrings. Earrings that are big enough to take the focus off your hair.

So these are my "Bad Hair Day" Earrings.



Completely handmade, these earrings were worked using just my hand and my pliers.



The large 20mmx30mm stone is Amazonite a wonderful blue-green stone with white striations.

Amazonite hang from 3 intertwined rings. The rings were hand formed and fused closed. Sterling silver leverbacks.
