Blue Monday - August 16
I'm linking to Smiling Sally's Blue Monday for the first time. How exciting! Oh, do I have lots of Blue to show. Thank you Sally for hosting Blue Monday.
I handcraft sterling silver jewellery, some with semi-precious beads. Like these Kyanite earrings.
The name Kyanite, derived from the Greek word kuanos is sometimes referred to as "kyanos", meaning deep blue. It predominantly occurs in a medium blue color with white streaks, although it can be gray, white or green. It is often translucent and always shiny.
The world's largest producer of kyanite is the US. It can be found in a number of states including California, Georgia, Nevada, Virginia, and North and South Carolina.
These kyanite drops are hanging from hand formed intertwined sterling silver rings. The leverbacks are also sterling silver. All my jewellery is available at Gracie Jewellery.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you'll visit again soon.
