Pink Saturday - December 11

It's Pink Saturday!!!! Thank you to Beverly of How Sweet the Sound for hosting our Pink Saturday meetings.

Every year my husband asks for some gift suggestions. I've been most helpful this year by finding pictures of the actual items.


How about this fabulous jacket by Stella McCartney in our favourite pink colour? At only $2,245. I think it would be one of those pieces that could be worn for years.

I love watches. So this Fendi watch with the pink diamonds on the dial would get me where I'm going on time, don't you think?

So now I would need one of these baubles to set off my pink nail polish. Note to hubby: please don't pick the green one!

And because I've been especially good this year-this Louis Vuitton necklace with the white and pink diamonds. For pricing you have to call them! I'm sure they'll gift wrap for free.

Handmade Sterling Silver Black Onyx Earrings - Delphine

Facetted Black Onyx hang under a cascade of sterling silver beads. The silver makes the black of the onyx pop! I've handmade the earwires from Argentium Sterling Silver.

Handmade Sterling Silver Black Onyx Earrings - Lara

Facetted Black Onyx all dressed up with Argentium Sterling Silver. After heating a length of Argentium Sterling Silver wire to form a ball, I wire wrapped the black onyx. I handmade the earwires of Argentium Sterling Silver.

*Argentium Sterling Silver is sterling silver with less of the copper alloy. Copper is what makes sterling silver tarnish. Argentium is 92.5% pure silver with the balance a mix of germanium and copper. This makes Argentium silver harder, brighter and more highly tarnish resistant than traditional sterling silver.

Handmade Sterling Silver Rhodolite Garnet Freshwater Pearl Earrings - Stella

I've combined a texturized sterling silver disc with Rhodolite Garnets and Freshwater Pearls to make this pair of earrings. I love the look of rhodolite garnet and pearls together. It is a combination that looks fresh and elegant. I've handmade the earwires from Argentium Sterling Silver. These are one of a kind!

Freshwater Pearls - 4mm, silghtly oval, smooth, luminous, white
