Pink Saturday

Welcome to Pink Saturday! Thank you to Miss Beverly at How Sweet The Sound for hosting this wonderful display of Pinkness.

This week I am sharing my balls. Glass balls made by a local glassblower.

This is the one that started it all. I found it at a craft show years ago and knew I couldn't live my life without it the moment I saw it.

My girlfriend gave me this one. She did not know I had purchased the one above.

I purchased this one the following year. After all I needed 3 to balance the collection.

Then I was given this one as a Christmas gift. Of course, this mean't the collection was off balance again so.....

I bought this one.

I could go on 3 more times but all of those balls are blue and that's another day. They all hang in my dining room window where the late afternoon sun shines through them. Absolutely stunning, unfortunately the camera couldn't pick it up.

No pink jewellery this week as I am working on something special for next Saturday. I do hope you'll join me. Have a great Saturday and don't forget to turn your

1 hour ahead tonight

  15. Ok, I guess I am still an immature kid because no matter what I thought of saying, it just didn't sound right-
"i love your pink balls, You have lovely balls, I love the way your balls sparkle in the sun..." Then I read some of the comments above and found that adding "Glass" before the balls made it sound more appropriate. But the other way had my pixies rolling around on the floor because they are very naughty you know. So with that said, you have the most spectacular and magical glass balls i have ever seen!
There- now i sound more like a lady. Maybe I should walk away from the glue guns for a while and have a nice cup of Ginger Tea.!
    Sparkly Hugs and Happy PS,
    Tobi and the naughty pixies

  16. You know, I live with a son who has a very dry sense of humour. You would have thought that I would have realized what my first line sounded like. Oh well, glad it gave you all a chuckle. Thanks for visiting!

  19. hi nancy! oh, these are just beautiful. i could SO start one of these collections, too! i've admired the outdoor gazing balls but would worry a bit about them getting broken. with these glass balls staying indoors i'd think they would have a longer life! i bet you have a "NO ROUGH-HOUSING" rule in the room where you have these displayed! thank you for sharing these with us -- i really enjoyed looking at them. your jewelry in your etsy shop is beautiful -- the colors of the beads are so pretty. (o: just want to thank you for taking the time to visit my blog & leaving a comment & for stopping by my etsy shop, too! i hope you're having a great week. (o:
