Pink Saturday - July 30

You've probably heard that Elizabeth Taylor's home sold for $8 million a couple weeks ago.

Please join me for the tour courtesy of Architectural Digest

The living room. Imagine a white carpet!

A wall in the trophy room where she kept family photos, humanitarian awards and her Oscars. So much better than displaying the Oscars in the bathroom like some actors claim they do

The dining room

The dressing room. The wallpaper is embroidered-silk!

The master bath

The bedroom. Her parents pictures are on the shelf

A little bit of paradise

Elizabeth's nephew, Christopher Taylor tiled the pool and designed the shell-shaped fountain at the far end.

Happy Pink Saturday! Thank you Beverly of How Sweet the Sound for hosting our weekly meeting.

  1. Such a great post! Thanks so much for sharing.
Hope to see you on my blog:)

  2. Thank you so much for this wonderful post on Elizabeth Taylor's home. She was a favorite of mine so I really enjoyed seeing how she lived at home. Such a waste.

  3. Anyone would feel like a princess living in a house like that. I agree. Elizabeth Taylor was a beautiful and generous woman.
