Blog Shop!

Thank you to Beverly of How Sweet the Sound for hosting this new feature of Blog Shop.

As a young child I loooooved jewellery.  I was fascinated with it.  How it sparkled, how you felt so grownup wearing it.  So now I have my own little on-line jewellery shop.  I hand stamp sterling silver creating personalized pieces of jewellery.  I also make beaded necklaces and bracelets using sterling silver and genuine gemstone.

So lets go shopping!

This week it is beaded bracelets with a sterling silver disc hand stamped with the initial of your choice.

25 December 2012

Away in a manger,
No crib for His bed
The little Lord Jesus
Laid down His sweet head
The stars in the bright sky
Looked down where He lay
The little Lord Jesus
Asleep on the hay

The cattle are lowing
The poor Baby wakes
But little Lord Jesus
No crying He makes
I love Thee, Lord Jesus
Look down from the sky
And stay by my side,
'Til morning is nigh.

Be near me, Lord Jesus,
I ask Thee to stay
Close by me forever
And love me I pray
Bless all the dear children
In Thy tender care
And take us to heaven
To live with Thee there

In Flanders Fields
By: Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae, MD (1872-1918)Canadian Army
In Flanders Fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead.
Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
 In Flanders fields.

Wear your poppy today in honour of all the bygone soldiers who gave their lives so that we may enjoy our freedom today.

Wear your poppy today in honour of all the soldiers that are still fighting to keep our freedom.
